Comptel Corporation, the leading vendor of dynamic Operations Support System (OSS) software, joined the Cisco (News - Alert) Developer Network as a Registered Developer within the Managed Services technology category. In addition, the Comptel Fulfillment and Comptel Control and Charge (including Comptel Policy Control) portfolios have successfully completed interoperability testing.
As a registered developer, Comptel offers a complementary product offering and has started to collaborate with Cisco to meet the needs of joint customers. Now, customers can more quickly deploy a broad range of Cisco Compatible business applications, devices or services that can enhance the capabilities, performance and management of their Cisco network with offerings such as Comptel Fulfillment and Comptel Control and Charge.
The Cisco Developer Network unites Cisco with third-party developers of hardware and software to deliver tested interoperable solutions to joint customers.
Recently, Comptel announced that it will be present at Management World Americas 2010, taking place from Nov. 9 through Nov. 11, in Orlando, Fla. Comptel Corporation (News - Alert) and Axtel will explain how operators can achieve greater operational and business agility with OSS consolidation.
Comptel CTO Gareth Senior and Axtel (News - Alert) IT billing director Emilio Rodriguez will present a case study on Nov. 9, in the Operational Excellence Summit’s Back Office Simplification track. The speakers will explore Axtel’s multi-phase OSS consolidation project, and explain how it was critical in enabling the CSP (News - Alert) to roll out WiMAX and other next-generation network technologies and introduce new services to its customers.
