Those looking to “navigate the technology landscape in one day” and get brought up to speed on the technology trends shaping IT will get that chance to do so at the IT Roadmap 2011 in San Jose, Calif., a one-day event that informs participants about what’s trending in IT.
The show, taking place tomorrow, Nov. 15, lets companies explore five critical technology trends in one day including cloud, mobile, networks, storage and security.
One company eager to exhibit at the IT Roadmap show for the first time this year is data center power distribution company Server Technology (News - Alert).
“This is our first year to exhibit at IT Roadmap San Jose, so we’re really looking forward it,” Julie Brown, marketing manager for Server Technology, told TMCnet. “Silicon Valley is such a hot area for data centers, IT and technology that this should be a great show. “
“We’re looking forward to interacting with the attendees from San Jose because of the aggressive innovation and technology from the companies in that area,” she added. “They’re doing more with data center technology and expecting more from us, so it’s going to be exciting to see what is discussed and how we can meet those challenges from a data center rack level perspective.”
The event will include keynote sessions such as “Tearing it Down then Building it Up: Transforming IT in the Midst of Chaos;” “Why Your Network is Poised to Thwart your IT Progress;” and “Visibility: The Missing Ingredient in the Cloud,” among other sessions.
One company excited about the keynotes is Server Technology. The data center power distribution company is also looking forward to spreading the words about its many recent power distribution unit product releases – 69 in the past few months and 289 this year.
Moreover, the company will be showcasing its latest version of Sentry Power Manager (SPM) 5.0, its power monitoring and measurement solution that boasts new functionality and a world-class user interface.
Server Technology is also eager for the networking opportunities the show presents.
“We see it as a great opportunity to connect with current companies and people that we do business with already and a chance to meet and introduce our company and products to a new audience, too,” Brown said. “The show content is geared to network and IT management with leading edge speakers and subjects.”
“It’s an opportunity for us to interact with companies that are really looking at what’s next for our industry – cloud providers and companies focused on data center evolution and next generation data center networks and storage,” she added.
