NaviSite (News - Alert) and Deltek announced their partnership to offer a hosted, managed solution for Deltek's financial management suite of Costpoint applications.

NaviSite Managed Application Services (MAS) for Deltek Costpoint is designed to enable government and enterprises to implement Costpoint solutions while removing upfront capital expenditures and reducing operational costs.

The portfolio of Deltek Costpoint, a financial management solution for project-driven organizations, includes accounting, project management, human resources, time and attendance, operations, expense management, payroll, recruiting and business development.

Deltek and its customers can access NaviSite's Sensitive Information Access Service (SIAS) including policies, procedures, and defined approval processes to safeguard sensitive data.

SIAS offers guidance and outlines for safeguarding, using, and maintaining information that the Department of Homeland Security categorizes as Sensitive Security Information (SSI).

The addition of Deltek Costpoint to NaviSite's MAS portfolio allows government contracting organizations and enterprise customers to combine the convenience and management support of NaviSite's application hosting platform with the functionality of the Costpoint solution.
