Application Hosting Service Provider CloudShare Goes Live on Plimus e-Business Platform

Plimus e-Business provides CloudShare with an e-commerce and billing platform. Company officials said that the platform enables them to handle the dynamic billing and subscription management needs of their CloudShare ProPlus offering.

Designed for IT professionals, developers, consultants, and other individuals or small teams, this offering of its cloud platform helps in building, demonstrating, sharing, and training of end-users on complex enterprise application environments like SharePoint, with ease-of-use and all-inclusive pricing.

Company officials said that by using the Plimus e-Business platform, CloudShare can offer its customers and partners greater customization across billing and services.

“With simplified billing, smart marketing tools, and full support for our affiliates and resellers, the Plimus e-Business application offered a comprehensive billing solution for our business,” said Uri Gilad, director of product management at CloudShare, in a press release.

Charlie Born, vice president of marketing at Plimus, said that SaaS (News - Alert) and cloud services companies represent one of the fastest growing market segments. “We believe that as enterprise companies shift to cloud computing and SaaS models, new companies like CloudShare are answering the need.”

To meet the unique monetization requirements of this market, these companies are turning to Plimus to solve dynamic billing and subscription challenges with the power of a truly complete e-Business platform, Born said.

Earlier this year in June, Plimus announced the availability of its Buy Anyware e-Commerce application programming interface.
