LynuxWorks Vice President of Marketing Speaks with TMC CEO Rich Tehrani

Robert Day, vice president of marketing at LynuxWorks, recently spent some time speaking to TMC CEO Rich Tehrani (News - Alert).

LynuxWorks, a real-time embedded software company, provides behind-the-scenes intelligence empowering, protecting and security solutions to millions worldwide. The company has evolved with the changing times and its LynxOS has matured over the years into a complete family of real-time operating systems, each enhanced for specific security and certification needs.

Day elaborated as to the real world presence LynuxWorks has. “A lot of what we focus on are high performance, high functionality real-time systems. We have been very much in the communications world. So a lot of the telecommunications switches and data switches have been running our products. And more recently, in the defense and avianoics (SP) market, which needs a lot of the performance and reliability that comes with our products.”

Day proceeded to go into greater detail as to how LynuxWorks actually works – from hypervisors to secure domain performance.

He also elaborated as to the depth of LynuxWorks presence in various markets from the government to commercial sectors.
