Broughton Hospitality Inks Deal with Roomlinx

Broughton has entered into a five-year agreement with Roomlinx Inc. to provide Roomlinx Interactive TV solution for three Chicago properties.

Roomlinx provides interactive TV products for hotels, resorts, and other properties, utilizing premium content and applications demanded by today' s traveler.

The five-year agreement with Roomlinx, with an estimated value in excess of $700,000 over the life of the contract, will ensure that the three properties managed by Broughton Hospitality are equipped with Roomlinx interactive TV.

As a result of the agreement, The City Suites Hotel, The Majestic Hotel, and The Willows Hotel.will now be equipped with  Roomlinx' s iTV, LCD TVs, and Free-To-guest HD television programming.

Broughton currently manages 16 boutique hotels throughout the United States and was given an award as one of the top 100 management companies by Hotel Business magazine.

In addition, they have also received the Earnst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award and NaVOBA' s  Ventrepreneur of the Year award.

"The Roomlinx iTV product is a big hit for us and our guests. It has generated ancillary revenues for Broughton Hospitality, while offering a refreshing change from the vanilla, on-demand movie channels found in most hotels," said Jim Sichta, Partner and COO of Broughton Hospitality. "We anticipate moving forward with additional properties this year."

Mike Wasik, CEO of Roomlinx, said he was pleased with the agreement and said that Broughton was a great partner to work with, adding that Roomlinx looked forward to expanding the relationship by growing together with Broughton.

Broughton's knowledge of the hospitality development market is extensive, and its distinguishing strengths of "leadership" and "thoroughness" complement the sound business principles and creative spirit that characterize it.

Roomlinx was founded in 1998, and has launched the most wired and wireless Internet solutions for businesses servicing hotel guests, convention centers, and other places.

In keeping with its commitment to hospitality, The Andreas Hotel & Spa in Palm Springs, which is owned and operated by Broughton Hospitality, has been named "Best Relaxation/Spa Hotel in the U.S" by the TripAdvisor2010 Travelers'  Choice awards.
