Walldorf, Germany-based
fluid Operations has announced it reached a much anticipated breakthrough in the use of storage-assisted virtualization to drive IT efficiencies.
The company says that with the release 2.0 of its flagship eCloudManager Product Suite, they have now implemented the VMFS driver into its ready-made automation tool-set for immediate productive customer use.
The company is collaborating with strategic partners, including SAP (

The Product Suite can drive internal Landscape-as-a-Service (LaaS) offerings for IT system development, testing, production and training and can mitigate risks around system introductions, upgrades, migrations, and consolidations.
The eCloudManager will benefit customers who have to drive compliance and automation through their IT resources and will help IT managers and teams to control their enterprise application landscapes, available resources, and ongoing SLA requirements.
Cameron Haight, Research VP at Gartner (

She advises these companies to look for tools that enable the assurance of high IT service quality to the owners of these key applications, and can help to lower the overall cost of ongoing (mission critical) application delivery and support.
