Control4 Launches Suite Systems Concierge Service for Hotels

Control4, a player in affordable, IP-based home control and entertainment systems, has launched Control4 Suite Systems Concierge Service, a digital application store that connects hotel guests with information, services and reservations.

The company said that Concierge Service aims to help hotels maximize business efficiency and deliver on green initiatives.

Officials said that Control4 Suite Systems Concierge Service allows hoteliers to select customizable digital applications that contribute to each guest's unique, personalized experience.

The guests would now be able to easily book reservations, learn about events and order services from the comfort of their hotel rooms. They can also interact with their own Facebook (News - Alert) and Twitter pages on a flat-screen television.

"Hoteliers face a difficult balancing act, managing costs, 'green-optimizing' their properties and making the guest experience a personalized and memorable one," said Will West, chief executive officer, Control4, in a statement.

West said that the company has been working closely with hospitality industry leaders during the past year to offer one-touch control for lighting, room temperature, entertainment, draperies, security and even the guest 'wake-up experience.

“Our newest Concierge Service increases personalization and attentiveness, allowing hotels to better serve their guests with even more features," he said.

As the operating system for the connected home, Control4 brings home automation and control to the broad market. Control4 technology is at the heart of an expanding ecosystem of leading consumer electronics products designed to work together with ease. Control4 develops and delivers control software and hardware for virtually any room, home or building from anywhere at any time.

Control4 Corporation in February had announced a new line of Home Energy Manager products that will use the Control4 Operating System to provide a platform for consumers to connect their home to the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) being developed by the major utility companies worldwide.

Control4 is among the first companies to announce a complete solution for the home area network. The Control4 platform will provide programmable thermostat control, load disconnect measurement and control, and allow consumers the flexibility to add lighting control, pool/spa control, sprinkler control, and other features to their control system.
