Alert) Unisys ES7000 Model 7600R Enterprise Server, the Alterian solution enables database marketers to accommodate large prospect database environments at a fraction of the cost of traditional legacy solutions while providing faster, more flexible options.
The new offering from the two companies delivers new capabilities that marketers have not seen before, proven by benchmarking tests. According to the companies’ officials, these tests indicate that the new solution cuts down campaign cycle times, from file receipt to campaign fulfillment, by 50 percent. The total cost of ownership over traditional legacy solutions is also reduced by 50 percent.
Dan Hall, vice president of Professional Services at Alterian, explained that the combined solution brings together the Alterian’s software engine, its flagship high-performance analytical database, and Unisys’ unique processing and storage capabilities. The combination results in a unique environment where querying large amounts of data, high-volume data extraction, rigorous data analysis and campaign execution come together, he noted.
Marketers can leverage the powerful ES7000 Enterprise Server technology from Unisys, to run end-to-end solutions incorporating operational marketing, content management, e-mail marketing and database marketing. All this can be achieved at a fraction of the cost of their current solutions while delivering better performance. Hall said that this alliance with Unisys builds on their success with Alterian’s recent database advancements, which delivered greater data access, improved speed, and higher ROI to marketers.
Partnering with Unisys allows Alterian to expand its integrated marketing platform further into very large database environments in key industries such as financial services, telco and retail. The companies claim that the new offering creates the industry’s most powerful and cost-effective marketing automation solution.
According to Rod Sapp, marketing director, Enterprise Servers, Unisys Systems and Technology, Unisys and Alterian are providing a new range of solutions for clients with transaction- and database-intensive requirements by powering a first-to-market solution for integrated marketing campaigns.
Michael Fisher, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Alterian, North America, added that the new solution allows organizations to manage prospect marketing campaigns with improved flexibility, increased speed, and at greatly reduced cost.
