ANX and Grid4 Networks Connect

Grid4 Communications and Automotive Network Exchange (ANXeBusiness) have executed an agreement for Grid4 to become a Certified Service Provider (CSP (News - Alert)) for the ANX Network and deliver connectivity for companies wanting to connect to the world’s only multi-provider virtual private network.
 
ANXeBusiness is a technology company specializing in managed network services, transaction delivery services and PLM solutions which enables companies to manage information and business operations smoothly.
 
The ANX Network is a data network designed to support mission-critical business data and processes, such as financial information, product development and design materials, and business-critical applications. The Network combines a patented network architecture from Telcordia Technologies with the telecommunications and network management technologies from other reputed network companies including; AT&T, Verizon Business, Cisco, Nokia and enables reliable and highly secure communications.
 
Under the terms of the current agreement, Grid4 Communications will deliver connectivity for companies who wish to connect to the multi-provider virtual private network.
 
The ANX Network user community requires reliable network uptime and high availability to support the transmission of mission-critical data, such as Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and confidential financial information.
 
As an ANX Network CSP, Grid4 will deliver a reliable IP Network to meet the Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements for customer connectivity. Added to this, Grid4 and ANX together will deliver future IP applications over the existing IP infrastructure.

ANX, headquartered in Southfield, Mich., has offices in Research Triangle Park, N.C., Overland Park, KS, Philadelphia, PA, Cleveland, OH, San Diego, CA (News - Alert) and Toronto. ANX customers include those in the automotive original equipment and aftermarket industries, healthcare, education, government, financial and aerospace industries and other manufacturing and service sectors.
