CM4all Inks Multi-Year Agreement with Brazilian Telco

CM4all, a provider of Web-based applications, has announced that it will expand its business in Latin America. Brazil based Internet service provider IG Empresas has recently signed a multi-year deal for company’s core product CM4all WebsiteCreator Business Edition.
 
iG Empresas is the business unit of Internet Group (iG) providing web hosting services to SOHO and small-medium-sized-business (SMB) markets. Internet Group is a subsidiary of Brasil Telecom (News - Alert) (BrT), a major Brazilian telecommunications company.
 
CM4all will adapt the user interface of the CM4all WebsiteCreator to iG Empresas’ corporate design before installing it in iG Empresas’ data center. Also, CM4all will administer the software remotely, with 24/7 support and continuously update both the Operating System and CM4all Application.
 
“After an extensive market evaluation, we decided to integrate the CM4all WebsiteCreator Business Edition to extend our value added services portfolio,” said Flavio Elizalde, director at iG Empresas, in a statement.
 
He also said that strategy wise it is an important step to decide on working with an external application provider. “We have set ambitious goals and have high expectations but with the decision for CM4all WebsiteCreator.”
 
CM4all WebsiteCreator will enable users to create professional-looking websites with useful features such as flash intro with preloaded templates and integrated flash editor, premium maps with location planner and database module.
 
In addition, the latest version of the software is also enriched with corporate multimedia broadcast power through the updated business media albums, a new business blog as well as a SEO toolset for Google (News - Alert) Analytics, automatic sitemap.xml creation and keyword entries.
 
Moreover, it enables the user to simultaneously publish HTML, .mobi and W3C (News - Alert) Web Accessible pages in intuitive steps. The launch of CM4all WebsiteCreator is planned for later this year. Terra Networks and Locaweb are the other existing CM4all partners in Brazil.
 
Earlier this year, Company announced that WebFusion has licensed the CM4all WebsiteCreator Business Edition to integrate into its web hosting brands. Last month, company said that Canadian site builder applications provider Topline Ventures has launched the latest CM4all Business Edition as a core product of their site building services.
