The company claims both routers have a performance graph that is four times the previous versions. With the new updated versions of the same, 100 Mb ethernet can be forwarded at wire speed, along with an Asterisk (

Alert) for VoIP gateway and SoftPBX applications support.
Available with standard AC or optional DC power supplies, the R1 expansion slots can support almost eight additional 10/100/1000 ethernet ports or up to 16 T1/E1 ports. It can be used for wireless ISPs, outdoor digital video surveillance, and military applications that require extended temperature operation.
Priced at a base retail price of $1, 6999, the R1 supports rackmount, wall-mount, and set-top installation along with an extended temperature operation from -20° to +70°C for outdoor installations with no environment control.

Alert) C7 high performance processor, four 10/100 ethernet ports, and one expansion slot. The expansion slot can support up to four 10/100/1000 ethernet ports or up to 8 T1/E1 ports.
The new routers are fully integrated with the PowerCode ISP billing and management system. While the updated R1 will have a fanless 500 MHz AMD (

Alert) LX800 processor, flash storage, dual 10/100 ethernet ports and two expansion slots, the updated TransPort router will be able to support wireless applications and premise applications with VoIP gateway services where wire-speed performance is required.
