InfoPrint Industrial Solutions Products Get Direct Support from Printronix

Looking to meet the continuing customer needs for InfoPrint Industrial products effective immediately, Printronix (News - Alert) has announced its comprehensive range of printers, consumables, services and support.

Through the existing InfoPrint Channel Partner (News - Alert) network which fully ensures uninterrupted customer support, Printronix provides a complete solution for InfoPrint Solutions customers, including a full line of printers, consumables and service offerings.

To ensure top tier customer support, InfoPrint end users can tap into the full product range offered by Printronix and its Channel Partners, who are trained and have the full backing of the Printronix global technical support team, the company stated in a press release.

Printronix has supplied more than 100,000 industrial printers to InfoPrint customers over the past two decades as the exclusive OEM supplier for all InfoPrint thermal and line matrix printers,” said Mark Edwards (News - Alert), senior vice president of Global Sales and Marketing. “InfoPrint customers and partners will receive equal or higher levels of quality and reliability with the Printronix branded products, which are 100 percent compatible with InfoPrint offerings, including IPDS, which provides an attachment-independent interface for controlling and managing all points addressable (APA) printers.”

Printronix has developed a trade-in incentive program for InfoPrint Channel Partners which is designed for customers who have a need to upgrade or expand printers in operation in an effort to further support the end user.

This move comes as InfoPrint Solutions, a division of Ricoh (News - Alert) Product Print Solutions LLC, ended the sale and marketing of its industrial printers effective December 30, 2011 to focus on high volume publishing print systems.

In July 2011, the company launched a new online newsroom. The service will provide access to resources, including press releases regionally translated global announcements, images, executive bios, and background information.

Media can also register to receive company news and updates via email and SMS alerts. Printronix's and TallyGenicom's social media channels such as Facebook (News - Alert), Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube can also be accessed via the newsroom.
