Awareness Unveils Facebook Campaign Manager with Social CRM Functionality

Awareness, a provider of on-demand social marketing management software (SMMS), announced the launch of Facebook (News - Alert) Campaign Manager with new social CRM functionality.

The new Facebook Campaign Manager enables Awareness social marketing hub customers to have the ability to implement promotions on Facebook while integrating social profile data with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce.com, Marketo and Eloqua (News - Alert).

Leveraging the Awareness Facebook Campaign Manager, social media-savvy companies can create and manage custom Facebook tabs within the Awareness Social Marketing Hub without additional charge, company officials said.

The company has launched with a set of templates for frequently used promotional elements such as welcome tabs, coupon offerings and YouTube (News - Alert) channel integration.

The Facebook Campaign Manager is designed to assist customers to benefit from social profile data collection that includes e-mail address, other Facebook “likes,” location, birthday and relationship status, among others.

“The social realm is where companies and prospects increasingly meet each other,” said David Carter (News - Alert), CTO for Awareness, in a statement. “Whether companies are targeting business prospects with white papers and educational content, or offering specials to end consumers, they now have the insight to understand what motivates prospects to purchase.”

The new Facebook Campaign Manager allows users to build custom branded campaigns, integrated with the Awareness Social Marketing Hub. This new feature allows companies to capture Facebook user data on Social Profiles, along with historical data on comments, “likes” and other campaigns.

Recently, Awareness announced an expansion of its client base. New Awareness clients range from brands such as Otis Spunkmeyer, Comcast Sports Net and Xerox to high tech companies like Nuance (News - Alert) and Trend Micro, to marketing firms such as Raidious, Hult Marketing, OmniStudio and Wanna Bee Social to manufacturing companies like Stafford Textiles and local governments such as Davis County Government.
