Nastel Technologies Offers Free Version of Application Performance Management Solution

Nastel Technologies, a global provider of business transaction performance solutions for mission-critical applications from the datacenter to the cloud, announced a freemium version of its AutoPilot On-Demand for WMQ product.

While the AutoPilot On-Demand for WMQ is designed to assist DevOps to perform better middleware testing, it will also assist in reducing production support costs.

The Nastel tool is significant for the industry as cross-functional cooperation has become a necessity and organizations need to equip their employees with tools that allow them to successfully navigate these applications.

“We've passed the point of return for organizations to continue allowing siloed teams and standalone tools to manage their application environments,” said Charley Rich, vice president of product management and marketing for Nastel Technologies, in a statement.

“Increasing complexity has given rise to a new DevOps culture – one that values the cooperation and intersection of technical business functions. Nastel's AutoPilot On-Demand is equipping them to each do their job without hindering the other,” Rich added.

Users will benefit from AutoPilot On-Demand as it offers essential visibility and diagnostics to the development, testing and DevOps teams. Teams can reproduce production related problems in the middleware. The tool will function as a common language between application development and IT operations teams, allowing them to work together effectively.

“Day-to-day business operations are increasingly tied to software applications; however, the applications themselves are becoming more difficult to manage,” said Will Cappelli, research vice president in the enterprise management area at Gartner (News - Alert).

Recently, Nastel Technologies announced its technology partnership agreement with Kratos Networks, a provider of network monitoring and management solutions, to integrate Nastel's AutoPilot M6 technology with Kratos' NeuralStar (News - Alert) and dopplerVUE network event management products.

The solutions offered by the company include products for both enterprise and mid-sized networks, formed by integrating Nastel's AutoPilot M6 with two Kratos products – NeuralStar and event integration platform for enterprises and distributed networks; and dopplerVUE, a business-class monitoring solution that brings enterprise grade management features to networks.
