Adaptive Planning, a provider of on-demand corporate performance management (CPM) solutions, announced that Metro Health Hospital, a 208-bed acute-care osteopathic teaching hospital in Michigan, has implemented Adaptive Planning for budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
Leveraging Adaptive Planning solutions, Metro Health will be able to move to a modern, Web-based solution for collaborative planning and reporting. Earlier, Metro Health relied on Excel spreadsheets to manage a complex budget with more than 80 revenue and cost centers.
Metro Health selected Adaptive Planning because of its ease of use and strong functionality. Adaptive Planning solutions enable companies to maintain the solution without any hardware or IT support.
Adaptive Planning assisted Metro Health to consolidating spreadsheets into a final plan, and solve the challenging task of data analysis.
“One of the most important requirements for selecting a new solution was the ability for the finance team to administer the application without IT support,” said Kris Kurtz, controller, Metro Health, in a statement. “Our IT team has many initiatives on their plate to keep our hospital and outpatient clinics operating successfully, leaving little bandwidth for internal projects.”
Metro Health rolled out Adaptive Planning to 80 health system leaders. Currently, Metro Health manages the budget for its more than 2000 employees across its hospital campus and numerous primary and specialty care locations.
“We are pleased that by enabling Metro Health to automate their planning and reporting processes, we have helped them put in place a foundation for financial management that allows them to more efficiently and effectively operate a leading teaching hospital that serves more than 200,000 people in the Western Michigan community,” said Greg Schneider, vice president, Marketing, Adaptive Planning.
Recently, Adaptive Planning announced that the company earned the highest customer satisfaction rating among more than twenty software vendors in the 2011 BPM Pulse (News - Alert) Survey results developed by industry authority BPM Partners.
