ITEXPO West 2011 'Best-of-Show' Awarded to DeviceAnywhere Test Center Enterprise (TCE) Platform

DeviceAnywhere (News - Alert) is one of the industry leaders in mobile application lifecycle management (mALM). The company recently announced that the company’s Test Center Enterprise (TCE) had been awarded the “Best-of-Show” at ITEXPO West 2011 in Austin, TX in the “Best On-Site Product Launch” category.

The ITEXPO “Best-of-Show” award is given to recognize innovative products and solutions. This award was specially given to highlight the technological achievement and creative product features that makes DeviceAnywhere outstanding in the industry. The DeviceAnywhere TCE is a SaaS (News - Alert) platform that offers a strong, always-on, globally accessible public test bed of hundreds of smart devices that can be used for interactive manual testing, automated testing, and QA monitoring of mobile apps and websites.

At the ITEXPO West 2011, DeviceAnywhere showcased TCE and its key benefits such as support for HTML5-based web apps; “Write once, publish anywhere” functionality for app development and test scripts; collaboration tools to connect remote employees and disparate teams; automated testing for smoke and regression testing; manual testing for new features; and

Compatibility testing across a wide variety of handsets.

In other news, DeviceAnywhere recently announced that Robert Kleinschmidt has been named vice president of Engineering.

The company said Kleinschmidt, a technology engineering veteran, has joined the San Mateo based company from Oracle (News - Alert). He has more than 20 years of engineering and research experience at Oracle and several other Silicon Valley stalwarts.
