eIQnetworks Reports 48 Percent Increase in Revenue Growth for Q1 FY 2012.

eIQnetworks (News - Alert), a global provider of a unified situational awareness solution, announced it posted 48 percent increase in revenue in Q1 FY 2012, ending July 31, 2011, over Q1 FY 2011.

Existing customers contributed 35 percent add-on revenue to eIQ. Leveraging SecureVue, eIQ’s unified situational awareness platform, customers are able to improve operational efficiency, reduce forensics analysis times by up to 50 percent and significantly enhance their security posture, company officials said.

Customers are utilizing eIQ’s unified situational awareness platform to gain accuracy, a timely and coherent view of the threat, compliance and risk posture, which help them maintain awareness of their information systems security state.

“Our customers are realizing the enormous value in SecureVue’s situational awareness and having a clear, in-depth view of their security and compliance posture,” said Vijay Basani, president and CEO, eIQnetworks, in a statement.

“Lean forward security focused organizations do not have to wait for two years for SIEM solutions to address the requirements identified by Gartner (News - Alert) to build a situational awareness program in their fight against advanced threats like APTs and WikiLeaks,” Basani added.

eIQnetworks has experienced adoption of SecureVue across vertical markets such as financial, retail, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, manufacturing and government during the quarter.

During the Q2, the company hired new VP of strategic alliances, Chris Blando, a former executive at IBM (News - Alert) and BigFix, to support the growing number of global system integration and strategic partners.

Recently, eIQnetworks announced that SecureVue has been approved for inclusion on the Department of Defense (DoD) Unified Capabilities Approved Product List (UC APL) by the Defense Information Systems Agency (News - Alert) (DISA).

The approval implies that DoD agencies can now use a solution that is certified by DISA to fight against cyber attacks and insider threats as well as comply with regulations such as NIST 800-53, FISMA and DISA STIGs.
