LogMeIn Announces New Employee Support Solutions

LogMeIn (News - Alert) Inc. today takes the wraps off two new employee support solutions. They are called Prompt ai and RescueAssist.

“Today LogMeIn has taken an important first step in helping to reinvent the way companies support and empower their employees,” said Paddy Srinivasan of LogMeIn, which will be a presenter at The Future of Work Expo early next year.

“With the introduction of Prompt ai, we are bringing our expertise in AI-powered customer engagement and offering an easy yet powerful solution for the modern workforce,” added Srinivasan, General Manager, Customer Engagement & Support Solutions. “The ability to self-serve combined with the ground-breaking features of RescueAssist, for situations that require a human touch, allow support teams to provide an end-to-end experience that eliminates friction and increases overall productivity.”

Prompt ai leverages artificial intelligence and natural language processing to allow users to state their problem and get automated solutions. They can access this solution via existing tools like Microsoft (News - Alert) Teams, Skype for Business, and Slack. And this new solution connects with widely used IT service management platforms and ticketing solutions like Jira Service Desk, Samanage, and ServiceNow (News - Alert) so employees can get support from IT experts.

LogMeIn says its Prompt ai templates and tips make it easy for organizations to build their content. And this solution comes with a real-time analytics dashboard to classify similar questions and gain insights so you can improve the solution over time.

RescueAssist, meanwhile, allows businesses to more easily launch remote sessions for IT help desk purposes. With this solution, users can use a simple plugin to start a support session from the browser. IT supports chat, file transfer, and remote view capabilities. It has integrations with popular messaging applications like Slack, and supports Android (News - Alert) and iOS device users.

LogMeIn’s Peter Zeinoun, director of support products, will talk about “Reimagining the Employee Experience in an Age of AI,” Jan. 30 at The Future of Work Expo, which will run through Feb. 1 in Fort Lauderdale.
