Cybersecurity Training Center Opens in Boise

Crime in the 21st century has transformed as criminal operations have moved into the realm of the digital world. With each passing year, the stakes get higher while the challenge of cyber security gets harder. Cyber Crime Forensics, LLC (CCFTC) has launched the Cybercrime Forensics Training Center in Boise Idaho, to meet the growing need for skilled practitioners in this continuously threatened computing environment.

Cyber security is a challenging undertaking.  There are many practices and products to consider, there are many different architectures that need protection, there is the challenge of mobility, and a rash of evolving threats that change the game on an almost daily basis.

Evidence indicates that despite ongoing campaigns designed to inform the community of security matters, there are still many issues that break down to a lack of skilled personnel. That’s one place where the training center holds such value. Things like fighting malware threats, SSL certificate implementation, and mobile protection, are just the beginning of the subjects covered at the institution. Advanced forensics and digital software analysis are examples of the types of advanced cyber security topics that attendees can look forward to learning at the Boise location. The courses are led by industry experts, and the objective is to create more experts which can help fill what is estimated to be 1 million worldwide job vacancies in the security job market.

The training center aims to turn out highly trained professional which can respond to the greatest threats in the industry today. Investigating fraud, employee misuse, insider threats, intrusion protection, computer forensics, and incident response are some of the business value elements that will benefit from the highly advanced programs. The security industry is one that is filled with the constant learning of lessons, as each incident and the corresponding investigation can help an organization better prepare for future attacks. Having the right professionals with the right skills to perform analysis and reaction tasks in a quick manner can help companies limit the financial and risk exposure from cyber security threats and incidents.
