Pulse Supply Delivers Solutions as Well as Product

In businesses’ hyper-connected world today, many are having trouble simply keeping up, yet alone getting ahead. Technology is moving so fast that some companies are getting left in the dust. That’s where Pulse (News - Alert) Supply steps in.

Pulse Supply bills itself as a true Value Added Distributor (VAD) of products and services for Data Communications, Wide Area Networks and Computer Networking. “Through these products and solutions we show businesses, organizations, carriers and telcos how to cut costs through technology and enhance productivity and competitiveness simultaneously,” the company explains on its website.

That message was driven home when Bobby Baine, VP of Sales at Pulse Supply, sat down at ITEXPO (News - Alert) in Miami with TMC’s Group Editorial Director Erik Linask, for a chat about exactly how the company works with its clients to help them achieve their desired goals. Baine began by explaining what his company is, and does.

“We’re a supplier of enabling connectivity equipment,” he began. We help customers who need work with newer IP networks. We provide the piece in the middle.” Baine further noted that Pulse supply “helps customers put their existing equipment together so it all talks to each other,” an important function in today’s multi-tired organizations.

Pulse Supply was initially formed to provide a source for top quality Data Communications (News - Alert) and Telecommunication products, along with consulting services at competitive prices. Pulse uses what it calls a consultative approach, developing a needs assessment through dialog with its clients. They’re committed to designing and delivering solutions today that meet or exceed customer requirements, and carry them forward into the next generation of products. As such, Bain knows where his company strengths lie.

“Where we shine is where a customers says, ‘I don’t know what to do; these are the problems that I have’,” he said. “What we do is go and dig in and say, ‘Tell us what you’re trying to accomplish. Tell us about the kinds of things that keep you up at night.’ And we try to go out and solve those problems.”

Baine went on in detail about what else is company is doing to help others achieve their goals. His complete interview can be seen here:
