Vaultize Releases New File Sync and Share Platform

Companies these days are aware that their employees are more mobile than ever, and they love to work on their own devices, even inside the office. But most companies are worried about the safety of their corporate data on these file sharing mobile devices.

Trying to help them with this problem, Vaultize has announced that the company has added integrated Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) features to its popular file sharing and anywhere access platform. The company has also catered to the needs of today’s generation and provided seamless integration with mobile devices in this new platform.

With this, Enterprise File Sync & Share (EFSS) is now integrated with EMM. In short, this gives a much needed push to the BYOD movement as this facilitates working with mobile devices at places that emphasize on security. The Mobile Device Management (MDM) features provided in this new platform include remote wipe, data containerization, storage and network encryption, PIN protection and white-listing of apps.

One of the most important features in this new platform is that it enables them to control what users can do with corporate data. It sets access rights and facilitates Mobile Content Management (MCM) and ensures safety of sensitive data.

“The newly upgraded platform has multifold benefits. It provides an easy and elegant mobile-first user experience through company managed as well as employee-owned BYOD devices, facilitating VPN-free remote access, sync and sharing of enterprise content on endpoints as well as enterprise content stores," said Ankur Panchbudhe, CTO and co-founder of Vaultize. "Fully integrated MDM and MCM features mean that for remote access and sharing - which are prominent use cases for BYOD - our customers need not invest in any MDM.”

The company has been introducing various new products in the file sharing domain. Recently, the company introduced Cloud-in-a-box appliance series. The new series has new generation hardware. It is optimized for enterprise file sharing and secure anytime/anywhere access.
