Camera based security solutions have mostly been employed by large businesses and government organizations. This is mainly because of the high cost involved in acquiring and maintaining such security systems. But modern inventions in camera based security systems make solutions now available to even small businesses.
Catering to the requirements of small and medium businesses, D-Link (News - Alert) has introduced D-Link Wireless AC Day/Night Camera (DCS-2136L). With this, the advanced networking and viewing capabilities which were hitherto the prerogative of large business houses have now come to the small business domain.
The camera provides exceptional recording features even at night. It is armed with a white light LED which ensures clear shooting capabilities even at night. It also enables users to use advanced wireless standard and offers expanded bandwidth to support multiple cameras on a wireless network.
One of the major features of this camera is that it can provide color videos even it night. The LED light warns intruders they are being watched and is effective at stopping intrusion at the bud. It also invariably forces them to look at the camera, which helps the camera in recording their faces clearly.
“D-Link is dedicated to providing its customers with the most advanced IP solutions that offer convenient connectivity, viewing performance, flexibility, and expanded accessibility,” said Vance Kozik, director of marketing, IP Surveillance, D-Link Systems, Inc. “As the demand for affordable, yet powerful residential and SMB wireless surveillance solutions continues to expand, D-Link is pushing the market forward with the first IP camera to support the new wireless 11ac standard.”
Apart from high end cameras, D-Link has also been offering latest technologies in security domain. Recently, the company unveiled AC1900 Wi-Fi Router (DIR-880L), the company's highest end wireless router to-date. Apart from delivering rapid Wi-Fi speeds, this router creates a reliable wireless network, the company stated.
