LogMeIn Rescue Achieves Integration Certification from ServiceNow

LogMeIn (News - Alert) has achieved ServiceNow integration certification for its LogMeIn Rescue, remote support and customer care offering. LogMeIn Rescue achieved this certification after completing several ServiceNow defined tests that tested integration interoperability, security and performance.

Steve Castro-Miller (News - Alert), VP of LogMeIn’s service cloud said, “Our integration with ServiceNow provides our joint customers with a more holistic view of their users’ experience, which can be managed to an even higher level of efficiency.”

The ServiceNow certification means that IT service providers can easily resolve technical issues covering numerous personal and work devices that are used in customer workplaces.

This integration between LogMeIn Rescue and ServiceNow will be highly beneficial for IT and professional customer support organizations as they can now streamline support by offering remote support sessions in Rescue. The sessions can be initiated from ServiceNow to ensure greater efficiency for support operations.

The shared data from each user support session in Rescue, provides critical information which can be saved to ServiceNow to enable easy tracking of customer interactions.

LogMeIn Rescue allows technicians to connect to various devices used in an organization including computers, tablets, and mobile phones. They can easily detect anomalies and pinpoint issues for quick resolution, irrespective of the user’s location.

Also operators, OEMs and IT help desks will be able to troubleshoot device issues from remote locations. All they need is an Internet connection. This makes the entire operation cost effective as the expenses and problems related to device returns and delivering onsite support is eliminated.

LogMeIn also announced a new enterprise version of its popular online meeting app, This will meet the rapidly growing demand for broader business adoption of the ultra-fast, intuitive, collaboration tool. The new enterprise version helps companies to quickly adopt a collaboration tool already used by professionals worldwide.
