NEC Display Solutions Launches Multi-Touch LED Backlit Desktop Display

The modern workplace is increasingly touch focused, from our smartphones and tablets to large format displays and interactive whiteboards. Realizing this, NEC (News - Alert) Display Solutions Europe recently introduced an innovative, 23-inch, multi-touch LED backlit desktop display.

The MultiSync E232WMT has been designed for the latest operating systems and can be used successfully in today’s corporate office, retail signage and as a second device.

Officials said that the touch monitor features an In Plane Switching panel that provides excellent display, response times, and industry-leading quality.

It has a highly flexible, height-adjustable stand that can be adapted to meet the requirements of any user—it also performs in a flat desktop mode.

In a press statement, Ian Gobey, General Manager for Middle East & Africa at NEC Display Solutions, said: “Given the interest we saw for the E232WMT at the recent ISE show in Amsterdam, there is clearly a demand for touch-enabled desktop display in many professional applications. Office workers need a smart desktop display that can make best use of these features in a flexible manner and without compromising the basic requirements of an office monitor. "

Showcased for the first time at ISE2014, the new NEC MultiSync E232WMT display offers the best in form and function. It features the latest 10-point P-Cap touch sensitive technology. The touch monitor’s wide format is quite suitable for side-by- side applications and broad connectivity options with three inputs—HDMI, DVI-D and D-Sub.

Furthermore, the excellent IPS image quality of the touch monitor offers wide viewing angles in 16:9 screen format and the overdrive function offer a 5ms response time for smooth and blur-free document scrolling, as well as moving-image reproduction.

Recently, NEC Display Solutions Europe unveiled the MDview272, a 27inch display that boasts some of the latest display innovations .
