Cubby Enterprise from LogMeIn Gives IT Professionals Secure Sync and Share Solutions

As mobile devices become part of enterprise networks and cloud technology makes it possible for the workforce to access data from virtually anywhere, it becomes increasingly important to synchronize the information so the most up to date data is available to everyone no matter where they are. While making the information available in real time or near real-time is important, security is also an issue that must be addressed in an environment that is more and more vulnerable to attacks. LogMeIn, provider of secure connections to the computers, devices, data, and people in digital world, has introduced Cubby Enterprise to help businesses manage sensitive company data as more  organizations implement bring-your-own-device (BYOD) and bring-your-own-app (BYOA) initiatives.

With this solution, businesses will now have the capability to manage and secure data shared between people and across devices, without restricting employees on how they can use their personal applications. In the past finding this balance was difficult at best, as available solutions delivered top-notch security with restricted employee engagement or vice versa.

Cubby Enterprise lets employees have flexible and intuitive access to files anywhere from virtually any device. This includes native iOS, Android (News - Alert), Windows, and Mac apps as well as any browser, so users can work from anywhere on a device from work, home or on the road.

The platform provides public and private sharing with 1 TB of cloud storage for every five users with options of increasing users and additional space. The content can be shared by inviting other users so all the parties can see, collaborate and sync the content. Users can also make the content available for people that don't have a Cubby account by providing them read-only links.

For IT managers it provides user and identity management solution with ADFS integration that enables single sign-on (SSO) via active directory. This includes: domain-based administration and desktop app deployment; data security with device wipe, policy settings, mobile passcodes; and monitoring activity with activity log and filtered activity search.

Cubby Enterprise is available with a prepaid annual yearly subscription service for $39.99/month per groups of five users.

"The consistent refrain we hear from our more than 100,000 SMB IT customers is that today's file sync and share solutions fall into two camps: complex, managed offerings built for IT but loathed by employees, or consumer-grade offerings that win over employees but fall far too short on security and control. With Cubby Enterprise, we're aiming to give businesses the best of both worlds by bringing together LogMeIn (News - Alert)'s deep understanding of IT management with our proven experience building popular apps," said Michael Simon, CEO of LogMeIn.
