United Data Technologies Receives ATP Status by Cisco

United Data Technologies (UDT), a company that provides high-performance technology solutions in the Southeast and Midwest United States, recently announced that Cisco has awarded the company with Identity Services Engine (ISE) Authorized Technology Provider (ATP (News - Alert)) status. As a result of the status, UDT will now be able to sell, deploy and support Cisco ISE products and solutions.

UDT helps companies maximize their investments in IT by reducing the risks, costs and complexity of deploying technology (RC2). UDT claims that it has partnered with top tier leaders in the industry to provide the latest products, from personal computing, audiovisual infrastructure to customized solutions.

“Achieving the Identity Services Engine ATP further enhances our Cisco (News - Alert) security offering. We continue to round out our security practice with talented architects and engineers as well as multiple specializations,” said Scott Byers, VP of Commercial Sales, Midsouth, in a statement. “BYOD is a hot topic within our customer base and Cisco ISE can enforce compliance, enhance security, and increase productivity for them.”

Last year, United Data Technologies became a Premier-level partner in the VMware Partner Network. This achievement demonstrated United Data Technologies' continued efforts in becoming an expert in VMware virtualization and cloud solutions. Further, United Data Technologies had taken the necessary steps to ensure that both pre-sales and delivery technical engineers have met the level of expertise required to be a Premier-level partner.

As a Premier-level partner, VMware recognized United Data Technologies as a go-to solution provider that can deliver comprehensive VMware solutions and services to customers on the journey to cloud computing. Premier-level partners are the most qualified partners in the VMware Partner Network and with this distinction, United Data Technologies has demonstrated a broad range of expertise and the ability to best serve their customers' needs in datacenter, cloud and end-user computing solutions.
