Thinklogical Acquires New Building in Milford, Conn.

Thinklogical, a provider of KVM signal extension and switching systems for video-rich big data computing environments, has acquired a 50,000 square foot building for its headquarters and manufacturing needs. The building is located at 98/100 Washington St. in Milford, Conn.

The new building will house the company's product design, engineering, manufacturing, executive, administrative, sales, marketing and customer support departments. The company also announced that it will hire more people at its Milford facility. Prior to the January purchase of the building, Thinklogical leased approximately half of the space.

Thinklogical manufactures fiber-optic KVM, video, audio and peripheral signal extension and routing solutions used in government, entertainment, scientific and industrial applications. Recently, the company and Christie collaborated to develop a highly secure and easy-to-integrate fiber-optic extension solution for Christie Entero HB video wall display cubes. Officials said that this announcement was made at the AFCEA TechNet Asia-Pacific Conference and Expo in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Using Thinklogical's patented Multi-Rate Transmission System technology, the new direct fiber input card will enable multiple data streams of uncompressed video, audio and peripheral signals to be multiplexed and transmitted over a single fiber optic cable to receivers.

"We examined several alternatives to secure the space needed to support our growth," said Scott Willey, chief financial officer of Thinklogical. "Milford, and specifically the location on Washington St., proved to be the best option in terms of value, central location and a supportive environment to conduct global business. This is an exciting time for Thinklogical and we are pleased to share it with the City of Milford through financial growth and new jobs."

"Our sincere congratulations to Thinklogical for again innovating and expanding their base," said Kathleen Alagno, president and CEO of the Milford Chamber of Commerce. "It is wonderful news to hear that a global company has chosen Milford as its headquarters location, and is doubling their footprint and creating jobs in Milford."
