TantaComm's Screen Recording Now More Flexible and Feature Rich

The telecom industry is seeing lots of changes and along with this we see changes in customer interaction media too. Beyond traditional inbound/outbound, today’s customers use chat, email and social media. Recording interaction currently demands robust screen capture.

With nearly twenty years of experience, TantaComm (News - Alert) has been providing interaction recording, security and regulatory compliance, and performance management solutions for contact centers globally. Screen recordings are available from TantaComm for several years now.

Recently TantaComm enhanced its screen recording solution with native Screen capture module which is noted to more effectively align with the company's open architecture.

"Our strategy is to develop and market exceptional products. Our focus over the last couple of years has been on the elimination of third party components within our infrastructure giving us full control of our service offering," said Ruben Moffett, chief operating officer at TantaComm.

"Our new screen capture is not only now native giving us improved flexibility, but also far exceeds previous functionality,” added Moffett.

Designed to deliver superior functionality and scale, TantaComm’s Capture Screen is an optional module that can be purchased along with the core Capture Audio module for customers who want to record the full agent-customer interaction.

Capture screen option allows supervisors to playback agent interactions with full video screen capture. TantaComm’s current customers who have been using its Screen product can now easily upgrade to this new module and begin using its new features and functionality in their existing TantaComm environment.

Key benefits of Capture Screen are

  • It allows for synchronized voice and data recording across traditional TDM, IP, and mixed telephony environments and offers application programming interfaces (APIs) to facilitate easy integration with other systems.
  • Offers industry leading file compression rates which greatly reduces the footprint required for storing the captured recordings.
  • Improves scale by over 300 percent thereby reducing the hardware, storage and administration costs.

Prior to this, TantaComm had announced the roll out of a new software licensing model for its core contact center offerings which will help to provide more economical solutions to its customers. TantaComm’s offerings under the concurrent pricing model include Capture audio recording, Capture screen recording and Protect compliance enablement.
