PowerNet Global Unveils PowerConnect to Bring Efficiency in Businesses

Communications provider PowerNet Global (News - Alert) has launched PowerConnect, the first product in 2014, offering a cost-effective way for businesses to connect to PowerNet Global network.

"PowerConnect is an excellent solution for customers who are looking for something more secure and reliable than Internet-based options," said John Putnam, vice president of Sales, PowerNet Global, in a statement.

PowerConnect allows businesses to use their products over a private connection, enabling them to operate much more effectively at a lower cost, Putnam said.

Like the other products from PowerNet Global, PowerConnect comes with the supporting and backing of a U.S-based, 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC (News - Alert)) to maximize reliability. It also offers advantages in scalability and flexibility.

The service is especially beneficial to businesses with a high volume of long distance phone calls as it will deliver higher call quality. They will also enjoy lower long distance costs because the service uses SIP to connect those calls. SIP uses Internet Protocol, so it is far more cost effective than traditional technologies.

PowerNet Global says this next generation technology is designed to integrate with existing services, and so many of the legacy technologies are becoming obsolete.

Jill Warren, Network Services director at PowerNet Global, says, “More and more businesses transition to this kind of voice solution, and they're seeing the cost, productivity and efficiency benefits of this type of service for their organizations. Customers rely on secure communications, and PowerConnect delivers that without a complicated architecture or a hefty price tag (News - Alert).”

PowerNet Global has been in the industry for more than 20 years. Its other products, including NetDialer, have won numerous awards for its performance and the support provided by the PowerNet Global team.

Recently PowerNet Global  announced the nationwide rollout of their Hosted IP PBX (News - Alert) system. The system is paired with PowerNet Global's telephone service, giving the customer the choice between metered or unlimited long distance plans. PowerNet Global also offers a variety of handset styles to choose from to meet customer needs.
