WHOA.com Brings the Excitement to ITEXPO 2014

The cloud is here to stay. Businesses will be moving to the cloud.  It’s not if, but when….

In fact, cloud based services will increase from $18.3 billion in 2012 to $31.9 billion in 2017, according to a recent infographic. One such company capitalizing on the excitement surrounding the cloud is WHOA.com – a leading provider of enterprise-class, secure cloud solutions for growing organizations nationwide.

WHOA.com recently sat down with TMCnet at ITEXPO 2014 in sunny Miami to discuss their participation at the event, what’s new with company, and what makes their customers say WHOA!

WHOA.com's founders and executive leadership consists of experienced entrepreneurs and IT experts who bring you more than technical knowledge. The company prides itself on giving customers only the best of the best, which is why the company offers up a comprehensive portfolio of best-in-class, integrated applications, platforms, and infrastructure products and solutions that enable organizations to have complete control and real time monitoring of their cloud services.

Whoa.com offers seven layers of security including:

1.Physical security: WHOA.com has partnered with select top tier data centers that exercise stringent security policies.  These include Verizon Terremark “Nap of the Americas” and others.

2.Network protection: Uses Palo Alto (News - Alert) 5000 series firewalls for visibility into and control over traffic entering and exiting the data center.

3.Secure multitenant architecture: Securely isolates customers’ workloads using technologies such as VLAN, VXLAN and SAN vServer segmentation.

4.Per-tenant firewalls: Each tenant has its own isolated firewall, which enables clients to manage and secure their infrastructure internally and externally from threats.

5.Host-based firewalls: WHOA.com suggests that all customers use firewalls built into the operating system.

6.Antivirus: Offers managed hosted antivirus for customers who don’t want to manage that function.

7.Backup and replication: Automatically replicates customer data sets to a different geography to ensure that data is protected from network threats.

The company also shared some exciting news at ITEXPO (News - Alert) 2014.

The company is announcing a strategic partnership with ABC Telecom, in which WHOA.com will be the preferred cloud provider for ABC Telecom’s over 3500 business customers.

If you’re attending ITEXPO 2014 then be sure to stop by the WHOA.com booth number 320 (you won’t miss it!) and be sure to attend all the other exciting sessions, speakers and exhibitors at the event.
