KEMP Technologies Appoints New Chief Marketing Officer

Networking industry veteran Atchison Frazer recently joined KEMP Technologies as its first Chief Marketing Officer. Frazer holds over 20 years of strategic marketing experience. In his new role as CMO, he will supervise global marketing and communications for KEMP.

KEMP is the premier provider of application-centric load-balancer solutions. With the help of its technologies, companies ranging from small businesses to large enterprises to public sector and educational institutions are able to deploy virtual Application Delivery Controllers with great ease for specific application workloads.

In a press statement, Frazer said: "KEMP Technologies is well-poised to bridge traditional network optimization with application-aware delivery for business critical functions, with the flexibility to accommodate both virtual/cloud IT environments as well as hardware-accelerated requirements."

He further added: "I'm especially bullish about the ADC (News - Alert) space as the explosion of non-website delivery control demands continues unabated with the proliferation of API-enabled mobile and cloud apps that require optimal service delivery performance."

Prior to joining KEMP, Frazer was CMO of data-fabric switch vendor Gnodal Ltd, which is now part of Cray, Cisco's (News - Alert) global enterprise services business.  He was responsible for services strategy and sales enablement to support Cisco's global enterprise theatre and enterprise transformation market segments.

Before Cisco, Frazer was Vice President of Marketing for ServGate Technologies, whose Full Context Inspection technology enabled a new enterprise firewall category endorsed by IDC (News - Alert) as UTM or unified threat management.

With his experience, he also served at UTM visionary Fortinet, where he was responsible for corporate marketing.

"Atchison comes to KEMP with a strong track record of designing winning strategies for both global IT leaders including Cisco and HP, as well as successful start-ups like Fortinet (News - Alert)," said Ray Downes, CEO, KEMP Technologies. "He has been a catalyst for driving disruptive technology solutions to broad acceptance by enterprise customers, strategic channels and service providers."
