FileMaker, a developer of database software and wholly-owned subsidiary of Apple (News - Alert) Inc., signed a partnership agreement with Multishoring.info, an IT consulting company specializing in near-shore and offshore IT development in Poland.
The deal is designed to help Filemaker grow its developer community and meet increasing demand for custom business solutions. As planned, Multishoring.info will now offer custom business solutions built using the FileMaker platform in a nearshoring and offshoring model.
“The explosion in mobile and tablet use has created an unprecedented demand for business apps. The FileMaker platform is at the forefront of that boom, and, consequently, the increasing demand for FileMaker developers has begun to put considerable strain on our FileMaker Business Alliance partners,” Tony Speakman, director, Northern Europe, FileMaker said in a statement.
Speakman also said that his company is glad to be working with a partner that’s able to offer development services both in support of FBA partners and directly to clients in the UK and Poland.
Multishoring.info, meanwhile, specializes in cloud enablement and development, mobile app dev, application integration using several platforms, managing the development and support of existing applications and more.
"We are very excited to be working with FileMaker. Millions of users, from individuals to some of the world’s largest companies, rely on FileMaker software to manage, analyze and share important information,” Andrzej Biesiekirski, chief executive officer at Multishoring.info, said. “We’re proud that our developers can be of assistance to them and their customers in a cost-effective, nearshoring way."
The new customized development services will be made available to both FileMaker Business Alliance members and directly to FileMaker customers.
