Tracx Adds New Features to Facilitate Cross-Departmental Social Media Management

Tracx, a next generation social enterprise platform, has announced new features, which is expected to further facilitate cross-departmental social media management and performance analytics.

Company officials said that the updated platform provides an integrated view of team assignments, tasks, and analytics.

The latest addition of new workflow capabilities includes individual publishing permissions and custom chains of approval, and enhanced measurement dashboards, as well.

According to a report published by McKinsey Global, the correct usage of social media technologies can add around $900 billion to $1.3 trillion of value, annually to the consumer packaged goods, consumer finance, professional services and advanced manufacturing markets.

With the help of new features from Tracx, brands can build efficient and effective processes for social collaboration across departments and time zones, according to company officials.

The updates include up to 20 company-wide workflow stages and the ability to create and define multiple teams, with options offered for restricted views, individual publishing permissions and custom chains of approval.

Additionally, the new updates also include a team performance dashboard, which features response and closing rates, and the ability to set targets and goals for the measurement of individual and team performance.

The addition of macros will enable the users to create sets of pre-defined activities to consolidate social business processes. Company officials said that option of templates allows the storing of pre-formatted posts in a central library, which helps provide oversight and regulation of the publishing process

New York City based Tracx is a next generation social enterprise platform that empowers brands to manage, optimize and monetize their business.

At the company, “we are eliminating silos across business organizations to maximize the impact of social media,” said Yaniv Ben-Arie, chief operating officer at Tracx. “With collaborative capabilities such as workflows, teams, and tagging, the platform manages the pace and flow of an organization by accelerating social opportunities in a more powerful way.”

Earlier this year, Tracx opened the tracx Gallery Space to support local artists and inspire employees with new mixed media art installation.
