Foxit Launches Foxit Reader 6 and PhantomPDF 6 in Various Languages

Most of us use PDF documents for one reason or another. But it’s not easy to create and edit PDF files, as it requires the downloading of programs.

Looking to ease this problem a bit for customers who speak different languages, Foxit has introduced Foxit Reader 6 and Foxit PhantomPDF 6 in German, French, Spanish, Russian, and Portuguese. With this, the company expects to add more users to its customer base.

According to the company, Foxit Reader 6 brings to the table a complete PDF solution. PDF files can now easily be created from Microsoft (News - Alert) Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and numerous other file types. Foxit Reader 6 also enables the creation of PDF files from hard copies.

Foxit Reader 6 is equipped with Foxit Reader PDF Printer (PDF print driver) that enables any application with print capabilities to include PDF conversion. Users can also make use of the Windows clipboard and can even create interactive PDF forms with the help of Foxit Reader 6.

Foxit Reader 6 works with various operating systems like Microsoft Windows XP Home, Professional, or Tablet PC Edition with Service Pack 2 or 3 (32-bit & 64-bit). It also provides complete protection against security vulnerabilities, keeping your system and company safe.

“The combination of Foxit Reader and PhantomPDF 6 enables enterprise knowledge workers to be more productive in creating, editing, organizing, and searching PDF documents and forms within the Foxit PDF platform," said Phil Lee, VP of Enterprise Sales at Foxit Corporation. "Enterprises now have a proven and secure alternative to Adobe (News - Alert), at a superior value, and in their local language.”
