FiberMedia Offers Companies the Capacity They Demand

Highlighted for being a data center company and physical virtual infrastructure provider with six data centers, five of them located in the NYC metro area alone, FiberLink’s facilities are all fully redundant, serving as an ideal solution for anyone looking for a physical collocation, cloud or hybrid offering.

I recently spoke with John Panzica, senior vice president of sales and marketing at FiberMedia at the Telecom Exchange event in New York. It was there that Panzica told me that his company’s target audience includes spaces such as healthcare and financial services wishing to much more easily migrate to the cloud.

“The services I find to be most successful with customers are in relation to the cloud as it can eliminate the capital requirements for servers, hardware and software that are not only expensive but carry a certain shelf life. Our solutions are perfect for a network that needs to leverage additional capacity in a cost efficient manner,” Panzica said.

Boasting a renowned high touch and high degree of service, the data center provider has the ability to put together a flexible solution that is able to meet clients’ needs of today and in the future as well as has highly competent OPS folks on its team -- just two of its differentiating characteristics from others in the space. Additionally, its ability to provide customized, flexible solutions that can meet even the most challenging demands help to set it apart.

In spite of the fact that FiberMedia has continually worked to raise the bar on customer satisfaction, it does unfortunately still have to overcome key challenges in the industry.

According to Panzica, one of the biggest hurtles is there are too many choices technology wise, particularly within the NYC marketplace. Next, complex decisions take a really long time to make thus being able to keep on course with projects and get to a successful outcome is a constant goal of the company. Third, a majority of times redundancy levels in data centers are not where they need to be and it is now coming to a point where organizations need to either invest additional resources in the data center or outsource their solutions.

As the months go on, one thing that FiberMedia can guarantee is it will be penetrating more verticals and expanding its footprint into new markets in the U.S. “We will also be building a national data center infrastructure across three key verticals,” he concluded.
