Frontier Secure Partners with Asurion

The ability of various devices to connect with each other poses new problems for the owners of those devices. Users need to guard themselves against unauthorized downloads, unauthorized tracking of the movement of their mobile devices and so on. These issues have become highly important in the corporate sector particularly where such devices are used to access sensitive information.

Recently, Frontier Communications partnered with Asurion (News - Alert), a technology protection company, to provide comprehensive equipment protection to residential and small business customers. This partnership will allow Frontier Secure to provide repair/replacement plans that will cover most PCs and other types of mobile devices.

The coverage plans offered under this partnership is flexible. Customers can simply select to cover just one or two devices, or they can their whole home, their offices or small businesses.

Apart from providing flexible coverage plans, the company is also offering enhanced customer service. In fact, those who purchase its coverage plans will get a dedicated phone number where they can speak to U.S.-based customer service experts. When it’s time to make a claim, it is an extremely easy process to complete which may consist of a service appointment from a certified professional and device repair or replacement.

The PC protection offered by the company includes virus, malware, and spyware scanning for up to three computers. It also includes unlimited backup for three PCs along with 4/7 unlimited access to technical support.
