EXASOL, a company engaged in the development of in-memory database EXASolution, has formed partnership with Callista Group, an information technology and services firm specializing in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Customer Relationship Management.

The partnership aims to simplify project implementation and offer support to EXASOL customers in various industries such as banking, insurance, financial services and telecommunications sectors.

According to Steffen Weissbarth, CEO of EXASOL, the partnership is an important step for the company toward the expansion of its distribution networks. “With Callista Group, we have a competent partner on our side who is ideally positioned to introduce our product portfolio over its far-reaching channels in the marketplace.”

Based in Nuremberg, EXASOL develops and markets the high-performance database EXASolution based on in-memory technology. The technology was designed to support enterprise warehouse applications and business intelligence solutions.

This also allows extremely large volumes of data to be analyzed and evaluated within the shortest timescale. Through rapid analysis and evaluation of data, the company helps enterprises optimize business processes and generate a reliable basis for decision providers.

The in-memory-technology-based database is utilized by companies of all industry sectors for time-critical analyses, comprehensive data research, planning or reporting.

By integrating geodata and poly structured data, which can also be added through Hadoop systems, EXASolution offers an additional dimension of evaluation for more efficient and ad-hoc analyses. Another advantage of this solution is that the easy-to-manage database can be integrated uncomplicated into existing IT infrastructures.

EXASolution is also marked by its high performance and low administrative maintenance. It not only provides valuable decision-making capabilities to businesses, but also helps them reduce total cost of ownership.

Considering its achievements, Gartner (News - Alert) named EXASOL AG a “Cool Vendor” in the category of Data Management and Integration 2011. In 2012 and 2013, EXASolution was included in the Magic Quadrant for Data Warehouse Database Management Systems.

"EXASOL and Callista Group AG have forged a strong partnership with tremendous added-value potential for joint customers,” said Jethro Oudenbroek, managing partner of Callista Group, in a statement. "The alliance is initially based on successful projection collaboration in the financial services area; additional projects are already in the pipeline."
