PolicyPak Announces New Management Tool for Autodesk Design Review

PolicyPak Software, a developer of desktop management software, rolled out a new management tool called Pak, for Autodesk (News - Alert) Design Review administrators.

Today, the big task is to create a simpler, safer and more secure computing environment. This pre-configured Pak for Autodesk Design Review gives IT admins the ability to deliver and enforce key security settings, and ensure documents are safe. PolicyPak assures that IT admins no longer have to run around from machine to machine to configure teams of Autodesk users.

Using its Autodesk Design Review Pak, admins can now deliver almost all settings and lock them down so users can’t work around them.

PolicyPak doesn’t deploy Design Review using Group Policy; rather it manages and locks down settings using Group Policy.

“There’s simply no way to deliver, enforce or remediate AutoCAD application’s settings to teams of AutoCAD users. With PolicyPak, it’s a no brainer,” Jeremy Moskowitz, founder of PolicyPak Software and Group Policy MVP, said this in a statement and emphasized that PolicyPak is the best management option for Autodesk Design Review.

PolicyPak Software has been specializing in application compliance and desktop management tools for Active Directory. The software enables IT pros to deliver, lockdown and remediate settings for desktops, laptops, VDI sessions, company devices, and personal “BYOD” devices.

PolicyPak is offering a free trial for all IT admins and network administrators who want to test it. They can avail this by attending a Group Policy Webinar at the PolicyPak Website, or by calling the company directly. PolicyPak will deliver these settings using Microsoft (News - Alert) Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft SCCM, Dell KACE, or any other management tool.

Preconfigured Paks are also available for other popular AutoCAD and Autodesk products such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Inventor2012, and Autodesk Revit.

Recently, PolicyPak released a free, downloadable whitepaper, titled, "What Office 2010 & Office 2013 Admins don't know about Application Management."
