MEDL to Incorporate Intellectual Property Protection from MacroSolve

MacroSolve, Inc., a company providing intellectual property protection solutions for mobile technology, recently finalized a deal with MEDL Mobile Holdings, Inc., a provider of mobile app creation, development, marketing and monetization solutions. In this deal, MacroSolve will be providing IP protection to MEDL Mobile.

In the hopes that it will provide its mobile intellectual property solution to application developers, MacroSolve has made an agreement with MEDL Mobile that will give the company access to MacroSolve's U.S. Patent number 7,822,816 to a very wide customer base of app developers. In exchange for receiving the right to grant licensing for this patent to clients on a "per install" basis, MEDL Mobile will be providing MacroSolve with a piece of its revenue from the monetization of apps developed with its platform.

MEDL Mobile's CEO, Andrew Maltin, said, "Our partnership with MacroSolve will now offer substantial intellectual property benefits to emerging app developers. We are excited to be able to add to our increasing library of tools and services for our growing Developer Network."

CEO Jim McGill of MacroSolve said, "MEDL is the first visionary partner to provide the benefits of the '816' patent to thousands of app developers. Our joint agreement is designed to be a simple and affordable solution for app developers."

The solution covered under U.S. Patent No. 7,822,816 creates a tokenized questionnaire for systems across the mobile information highway, by means of wireless networks, smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices. It manages and collects information that covers a plurality of computing devices that are connected to a server. This solution potentially creates applications in which intellectual property is protected by means of network authentication, allowing app developers to protect their work and ensure that the free exchange of information is facilitated in an environment within which privacy is not infringed.
