iScan Online Joins McAfee Security Innovation Alliance Partner Program

iScan Online, specializing in opportunistic scanning, has joined the McAfee (News - Alert) Security Innovation Alliance (SIA) partner program. iScan Online’s opportunistic scanning can scan Mac, Windows and Mobile devices for vulnerabilities, regulatory compliance and data discovery.

Carl Banzhof, CEO of iScan Online said, “McAfee covers a wide spectrum of devices with security management. iScan Online adds another dimension in terms of opportunistically scanning any device anytime, anywhere.”

“With BYOD and remote workers changing the face of an organization’s networks, this new type of security scanning will be a great addition, giving McAfee customers more visibility into their vulnerability, compliance and risk posture,” Banzhof added.

iScan Online will be able to integrate its SaaS (News - Alert)-delivered, BYOD security scanning  solution with several McAfee security technologies in its capacity as a member of the McAfee SIA program. This will help customers scan any device, anytime, anywhere for vulnerabilities, compliance (PCI (News - Alert), HIPAA) and data discovery (PAN) purposes.

According to officials, all devices can be scanned irrespective of their physical location and type of network connection.

The partner program will also allow other mutual customers to initiate opportunistic scans by iScan Online using the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) console. Also, the results can be integrated into McAfee Enterprise Security Manager, which is a McAfee’s SIEM solution.

Ed Barry, vice president of the Security Innovation Alliance, McAfee remarked, “We are pleased to add iScan Online to the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance. Our customers face growing challenges to secure their networks and maintain compliance. The upcoming integration of iScan Online with McAfee solutions will provide our joint customers a valuable new capability.”

McAfee’s security management offerings serve commercial and government information security organizations optimally, added officials.

Recently, iScan Online launched an efficient security scanning system for the cloud that is adaptable to any device at all times and from nearly all locations. And now the company is using this platform to create an even more impressive and accessible method of security scanning, called the iScan Online Android App.
