Webtrends Announces Improvements to Its Webtrends Streams Solution

Webtrends recently announced that it has improved its Webtrends Streams solution with three new important features - Session Streams; Full-session scoring; and Integration with Responsys.  

In a statement, Alex Yoder, CEO, Webtrends, said that, "Delivering the right message to the right audience at the right time is the goal of all digital marketers, and the key to creating successful programs and campaigns. To-date, marketers have been working with 'real-time' solutions that experienced delays of up to minutes or hours after an event. This has cost them customers, conversions, and ultimately ROI. Now, the rich data Webtrends Streams provides combined with these new integrations enable marketers to take critical action on what is trending across their digital properties in the moment."

Leveraging Webtrends Streams, users can enhance their engagement and conversion with visitors irrespective of the device type or platform being used.  Additionally, the solution keeps a track of and responds to customer events and behavior all in real time as data is sent to the marketer while the visitor is on site, thus allowing the marketer to adjust content and provide offers based on customer behavior, all within seconds.

Webtrends Streams has been improved with features which include- Session Streams, which offers users instant access to visitor session details while the visitor is still onsite. Users will be provided with session summary information, which includes the number of product views, events, purchases, as well as abandonment status for each individual session. Marketing professionals can then use this data to improve offers and product recommendations to consumers based on their preferences.

Full-Session Scoring allows for high-precision content testing and targeting with respect to a visitor’s actions prior to exiting from a site. The user can specify visitors who are still onsite and are adding items to their cart but haven’t yet made a purchase. These visitors can then be shown a special offer to entice them into making the purchase.

The integration of Webtrends Streams with Responsys will allow marketers to take action on visitor behavior as it happens. The ability to respond in a timely and relevant manner either through e-mail, mobile or via social channels with attractive offers or promotions, will help marketers improve engagement and drive conversion rates while also optimizing ROI.
