BJ’s Wholesale Club, an operator of membership warehouse clubs in the Eastern United States, announced its partnership with LogicSource, a sourcing solutions firm that provides enhanced print procurement and management services. The officials from BJ’s Wholesale Club said the solutions will help the company deliver significant cost savings and increase efficiency.
LogicSource uses a "Cloud Resourcing" model to deliver strategic sourcing, supplier management, benchmarking, finance, IT, and HR support. This effectively gives the Onsite Team a flexible pool of offsite resources by providing the critical core services, which allows onsite resources to focus solely on managing the day-to-day transactions required in a fast-paced marketing environment. The company’s solutions were selected by BJ’s after a detailed analysis and stringent testing.
"The co-sourcing model offered by LogicSource is a great fit for us,” said Julie Reed, Vice President, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement and Chief Procurement Officer. “Our onsite team will have the enhanced technology, processes, and resources they need to drive to the next levels of cost savings, innovation, and efficiency for BJ's."
“We look forward to working closely with the BJ’s team to implement and carry out a proven, sustainable model for long-term procurement savings,” said LogicSource CEO David Pennino.
Meanwhile, LogicSource recently announced enhancements to its OneMarket® Sourcing Solutions Suite with the release of the OneMarket Buyer eProcurement module. The new version is easier to use, increases process efficiency and supports an increased number of highly specified sourcing and procurement categories, including primary packaging and retail operations goods, such as fixtures, flooring and lighting. OneMarket Buyer is the core engine of the OneMarket platform, which improves the speed and effectiveness of the procure-to-pay process associated with all printed materials and related commodities and services.
