Panasonic Expands into Personal Document Scanner Category

Document scanners are being used by almost all the companies as they help with retrieving valuable information when they need it the most. It is also easier to organize content with the help of document scanners when compared to traditional methods.

Panasonic (News - Alert) is looking to help those customers who want to have a paperless office. Recently, the company introduced its KV-S1026C and KV-S1015C personal workgroup document scanners. According to the company, small and medium businesses can make use of these products that want to have a digital filing system and reduce paper consumption.

Apart from helping companies save on the cost of paper, the KV-S1026C and KV-S1015C also help companies in saving valuable real estate space as they can be nestled into very small spaces. They also provide the advantage of converting a huge volume of documents into electronic data at a rapid pace.

These new products make use of enterprise-grade paper feed technology and also Active Double-Feed Prevention Roller System. After scanning the data, sending them is easier with the control buttons placed right on the top of the machine.

Panasonic provides scanners that are compatible with a wide variety of applications. This means the company provides scanners that are ideal for all types of business needs. These scanners offer services such as high speed precision, malfunction resistance and easy maintenance.

“Many of our customers have a need for a high quality document scanner, but are limited by space constraints and budget,” said Bill Savino, Marketing Manager for business communication and document/imaging solutions at Panasonic System Communications Company of North America. “The Panasonic KV-S1015C and KV-S1026C scanners put a high performance, business-grade scanner within reach for small business and home office customers with document management needs.”

Apart from document scanners, the company has also been making waves in the HD video market. Recently, the company launched HD Video Conferencing Community on the TMCnet Online Community program.
