Go Daddy Deploys A10 Networks AX Series ADCs to Drive Web Hosting Business

A10 Networks (News - Alert) recently revealed that its AX Series Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs) have been selected by Go Daddy to drive its expanding Web hosting business. Go Daddy is an established name within the domain name, Web hosting and new SSL certificates sector.

A10 Networks is a specialist provider of innovative networking and security solutions.

In a statement, Go Daddy Director of Networking Tim Parker said, "Go Daddy offers dynamic, scalable, and multi-server Web hosting solutions to our customers. Small business customer success online is largely influenced by the technology and support employed. Using A10, we are able to provide the same, top-level service our nearly 11 million customers have come to expect while improving reliability and keeping costs down."

The fast expanding Web hosting business of Go Daddy was facing the challenge of increasing computing demands thanks to a growing customer base. It fond itself having to address the needs of existing customers' with respect to Web requirements. Go Daddy decided to use A10's high-performance 64-bit AX Series appliances to facilitate a large-scale Cisco (News - Alert) replacement. This resulted in an improvement in the consolidation ratio by eight times with subsequent improvements in resiliency, as well as improved failover and security protection.

Go Daddy has successfully deployed the AX Series within its North American data center as well as within a number of its international data centers. The company has even deployed the A10 aGalaxy centralized management solution to ensure easy management of its expanding customer traffic and the accompanying AX Series appliances.
