Tieto's Productivity Cloud Helps Businesses Build Productivity

Ten years ago, the cloud was just a haze with a lot of hype surrounding it, but today, with cloud offerings claiming to make businesses more agile and more productive, many companies are adopting cloud computing for fear of being left behind.

Many ready-made cloud services and solutions are being introduced by companies like Tieto Corporation, and the service launch of its Productivity Cloud is being seen as an important milestone in the development of its strategic new offerings.

The Productivity Cloud is a sort of commitment by Tieto to keep its platform up to date by introducing new services with latest product versions as soon as possible.

An offshoot of the three year Productivity Cloud initiative agreement between Tieto and Microsoft (News - Alert), the solution has apparently positioned Tieto as a key provider of productivity software that can provide comprehensive unified communications and many other integrated services in demand by businesses.

Tieto plays a key role in Microsoft’s vision of providing customers with cloud services, hosted in customer’s, Tieto’s and Microsoft’s data centers.

With a new suite of services that enhance the company’s existing portfolio, Tieto’s Productivity Cloud helps deliver fast, cost efficient, flexible and scalable solutions to businesses, helping them stay competitive.

“Tieto Productivity Cloud gives us the chance to become the leader within cloud and hybrid business productivity solutions", said Jyrki Oksala, vice president, application platform services at Tieto.

Enterprise and public sector companies are expected to benefit form increased operational efficiency as it empowers businesses to automate routines, simplify work and adapt quickly to changes in demand, build unique data security and control capabilities, without compromising on regulatory compliance.

From commercial vision to agile execution, the Tieto Productivity Cloud claims to be the suite to build business productivity.

NetIQ announced that Tieto, a leading European IT service company, had chosen its technology as the basis of its cloud-based data center services. As a result of this partnership, Tieto offers a full Cloud Services portfolio -- delivered at the speed and flexibility of the public cloud -- that can meet the unique needs of its growing northern European customer base with the consistent and integrated service experience customers have come to expect.
