Array Networks Accomplishes IPv6 Transition Technology Test

Array Networks (News - Alert), Inc. was a part of the major IPv6 transition technology test that successfully carried out across the globe by the Chinese Ministry of Industry in association with the Telecommunications Research Institute of Tsinghua University.

As part of the certification process, Array was required to exhibit the expertise of its APV Series application delivery controller products across several crucial IPv6 technologies and use cases.

Technology vendors worldwide were asked to endorse the acceptance of IPv6. They were also required to appraise the condition of existing IPv6 transition technologies.

The intermediary government was offered a reference point by the event for developing ground-breaking Internet policy, and carriers and organizations were offered an advantage in the finalization process for unique IPv6 solutions.

Array Networks is a major promoter of IPv6 technology. The organization is the maiden dealer for acquiring IPv6-ready documentation for government agencies, enterprises, carriers and Internet service in China.

Array Networks has therefore successfully showcased the responsibility of application delivery networking in ensuring an easy transition to IPv6.

As part of the test, Array application delivery controllers offered total DS-Lite and NAT64 technical assistance, ensuring a flawless changeover to IPv6 from IPv4. During the course of the test, Array received the undisputed backing of participating professionals.

In a statement, Michael Zhao, president and CEO, Array Networks said, "The number of enterprises concerned about the transition to IPv6 increases the importance of tests such as those recently conducted by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and the Telecommunications Research Institute of Tsinghua University. Array's successful participation in this recent test is another example of our commitment to building consensus and instilling confidence during the transition to IPv6. Our technology has once again demonstrated its technical strength and its ability to solve more complex IPv6 Phase 2 use cases."

Interoperability with IPv4 and IPv6 networks, along with hybrid IPv46 networks, is provided by Array APV Series application delivery controllers. Array APV series offers strong application delivery features like server load balancing, international load balancing, link load balancing, and an assortment of diverse health inspection methods for offering the maximum possible level of network performance and availability.
