Good Technology Unveils Good Vault App Incorporating Tactivo

Good Technology (News - Alert), an associate of Precise Biometrics, recently unveiled the Good Vault app, which is compatible with Tactivo Smart Card & Fingerprint Reader for the iPhone (News - Alert) from Precise Biometrics. Good Technology had launched the latest offering at the Gartner Identity and Access Management Summit, scheduled from December 3-5, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Good Vault has improved data security by expanding powerful two-factor verification and Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions or S/MIME e-mail signing and encryption to Good for Enterprise e-mail application. The Good Vault offering, comprising of Tactivo Smart Card & Fingerprint Reader, is a unique offering developed on the recently launched Good Trust mobile identity and access management platform.

Extremely regulated enterprises in the arenas of government, healthcare and financial services can advantageously utilize Good Vault to tackle the rising mobile security attacks in a competent manner. At the same time, enterprises are able to comply with the rules. Tactivo is advantageously utilized by Good Vault for offering powerful verification, while utilizing a smart card for access to Good for Enterprise. Good Vault also guarantees confidentiality and reliability by allowing encryption and signing of mobile e-mail messages.

Tactivo has been incorporated into Good Vault mainly for its smooth design and accessibility. A smart card reader and fingerprint sensor are offered by Tactivo for the iOS devices in an artistic manner, in line with the Apple (News - Alert) designs.
