Cloud optimization specialist, Cloudyn has forged a new partnership agreement with Scalr to enable integration of cost and infrastructure management.
Since its inception in 2011, Cloudyn has been offering organizations the clarity and control of cloud costs, actionable recommendations for cost savings and maximized utilization of resources in a dynamic cloud environment. Now, the company has joined hands with Scalr to build a cloud platform that helps users track their recent deployment and unused resources along with management tools needed to confidently implement the optimization recommendations.
“The combined ease-of-use and comprehensive suite of cloud management tools that our partnership delivers, will radically transform cloud management by bringing together and streamlining the decision-making and fulfillment processes that can be such a large part of day-to-day cloud computing,” said Sharon Wagner, CEO and founder of Cloudyn.
Wagner said that this partnership enables them to offer customers control mechanisms for costs, deployment and automation all from one easy-to-use dashboard application, a critical component of long-term use of the cloud for enterprises.
In addition to using the robust platform, Scalr customers also get access to Cloudyn’s cloud cost management and optimization tools directly from their Scalr console. Cloudyn officials said that they offer a detailed report that speaks about cloud usage trends, spending inefficiencies along with recommendations for selecting best fit, custom pricing plans and deployments.
“The partnership between Cloudyn and Scalr has created a cloud platform that provides our customers with what they’ve been asking for - the ability to view their current deployment, with insights into unused or unnecessary resources, alongside the management tools needed to confidently implement the optimization recommendations,” said Sebastian Stadil, CEO and founder of Scalr.
Many organizations rely on Scalr to deploy and manage highly available services on private, public, and hybrid clouds. It is available on premise, hosted, and as an open source package, and is widely deployed across five continents, over 30 countries
