Gala Bingo Personalizes Tickets with GMC Software Technology

Next time you buy a ticket to your favorite show, check them out before you throw them away. They may contain useful promotional information, attractive graphics and information about some more events taking place in your vicinity.

And there are various companies trying their best to transform these humble tickets into colorful products. GMC Software Technology has been selected by Gala Bingo, along with edwardthompson.

With this, Gala Bingo will look to move into “third-generation” bingo tickets, the company stated.

The 3GB tickets offer much more than a standard ticket for Gala Bingo. They come in attractive colors, and the company boasts a number of different graphics allowing users to personalize their own in whatever way they’d like.

The 3GB tickets are not only attractive to customers, though; they’re appealing to the company as well, allowing Gala Bingo to improve its business process in activities such as audit procedures and stock control.

The 3GB ticket is developed by edwardthompson and the solution makes use of the advanced digital printing and variable-data software platform. The company has deployed GMC Inspire into this product in the interest of ROI.

“GMC Inspire was the only platform that provided true visual design and ease of use for non-technical operators,” said David Bate, Operations Director at edwardthompson. “We were speechless when GMC demonstrated a working application during the course of a meeting and as a result, the decision to implement GMC Inspire is one of the best decisions I have ever made.”

Recently, the company witnessed significant growth in customer base. According to the company, it has added four new customers to its increasing Latin America clientele in the last quarter. These users include Palacio de Hierro in Mexico, Casa de la Moneda in Argentina, Novaventa in Colombia and Panamerican Printing in Panama – and are taken from the business process outsourcing (BPO), direct mail, manufacturing and retail markets.
